Physical Education Philosophy
The Physical Education program is designed to provide opportunities for students to develop skills, attitudes, about physical activities. Utilizing this curriculum will help to meet the student's basic physical, mental, social, and emotional needs. The intent of Physical Education is to give each student the knowledge of appropriate bodily care, and the desire to maintain physical fitness through constructive activity. Students will then sustain and use this knowledge both during their school years and the time following graduation.

HEALTH: Health Education is a part of a health promotion program that assists students in developing the knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to monitor their health status. health instruction will motivate students to apply current health information and skills to promote their physical, emotional, and mental health.

DRIVER EDUCATION:
The Philosophy of the Driver Education Department is to improve the quality of human decision making and task performance as they relate to the highway transportation system. We feel this should be done in a manner conducive to encouraging continued improvement which will be achieved by enhancing driver performance capabilities, developing knowledge and thought processes, and instilling safe driving values and good judgment into the students. We also believe that driver education is a means by which the community can and should gain new and competent drivers; one's which will be an asset to the community.
